If you are looking for a Wedding Venue in Brighton then you are in the right place. For my first top 5 wedding venues in Brighton I am focusing on some slightly less well known options.
So why get married in Brighton? The Salt air and the seagulls chattering, ice creams and chips, a seaside experience is always one of memories. Getting married by the sea is a gorgeous, romantic idea and you can really play with the beach-side theme. It’s fun for all your guests and every gets a chance to take a weekend off from normality and escape for a while.
But Brighton also has a cosmopolitan culture, is Lgbtqia+ friendly and has embraced ‘difference’ for the longest time.
It is hipster, cool, ethical and interesting. Known as London by the Sea, it has all the charm of a seaside town, its under an hour from London and has all the cosmopolitan chic you could hope for.
You can be anyone you like here. So if you are getting married in Brighton and looking for a venue you probably don’t just ‘like the seaside’. I imagine you’re pretty cool, fun or Bohemian and arty.
I’ve tried to think of that as I’ve researched these Brighton Wedding Venues.

What are the options for Brighton Wedding Venues?
The number of Brighton Wedding Venues is surprisingly small. But if you look carefully or have a bit of insider knowledge you can find them. Especially if you are willing to hire an unlicensed venue for a Celebrant – led wedding ceremony. You might be thinking of a central location for your Brighton wedding or you might consider something just outside of Brighton in the South Downs. In this first blog in my series of Brighton Wedding venues we are going to Kemptown.

Choosing a Brighton wedding venue
Choosing your Brighton wedding venue can be really tricky because it depends upon the kind of wedding you are having and whether there are venues to tick every box.
But over the course of this series we’re going to crack this and find you something that works for your personality, your style, your guest list and your location.
You might be having a micro wedding, or perhaps you want to get married right opposite the pier, you could be looking for super cool rock ‘n’ roll or classy, classic chic. Perhaps you want ‘ice cream’ colours and sticks of Brighton rock for favours.
Do you want a
- central location that you can walk to?
- happy to be a train ride outside of the town?
- Barns and more rural locations just outside the town with great public transport?
- Stately home?
- Nightclub?
- Arts venue?
- De-consecrated church?
- Art Deco Lido?
- Swanky bar?
Brighton has something for everyone and wedding venues are no exception.
This blog is the 1st of many blogs about Brighton Wedding Venues. I will be breaking them down into areas. This first one focuses on the Pier and Kemptown. Because this is the vibrant, bohemian part of town these are mostly for vibtrant, bohemian couples and throuples.
