🌺After 13 years as a wedding celebrant, I feel like things are finally making sense to me.

🌸As I’ve got older and more experienced I’ve realised where I got things wrong.

🌺I used to think couples needed me to be interesting, or super charismatic or legendary in some way.

🌸Like I needed to be an entertainer.

🌺I always felt like I somehow wasn’t ‘big’ enough or ‘cool’ enough.

🌸But when I sit and listen to you, what I hear is that what couples really need when they’re creating a wedding ceremony is someone who makes them feel safe.

🌸Someone who really hears them.
 🌺Someone who understands who they are.
 🌸Someone who ‘gets them’

🌺As I’ve learned how to be myself I’m getting better at making that happen for you.

🌸I’ve realised that is my strength…making you feel safe about being yourselves.

🌺I’m ok with that.

🌸I create wedding ceremonies for thoughtful couples who want something that feels like them.
